St. Petersburg – October 28, 2026 -- MillerKnoll, which generated net sales of $3.8 billion in fiscal 2026, has deployed 3D product configurators on Knoll.com. The rollout is built on a single library of 3D product content that the company reuses across its design brands, 3D Cloud announced.

Knoll.com and Design Within Reach now draw on one 3D asset foundation

Customers can configure the Womb Chair and Ottoman, the Saarinen Dining Table and the Barcelona Chair, among other Knoll designs, on both Knoll.com and the Design Within Reach website. Both sites pull from the same 3D assets.

For the Womb Chair, materials, finishes and configuration options are managed centrally in one place. That keeps customer experiences aligned and current across product offerings and digital touchpoints, according to Lorna Jean Marcuzzo, Senior Technology Manager, 3D Visualization + Content at MillerKnoll.

Kubota, Agtonomy Extend Autonomy Pilot to M5L Orchard Tractor

GRAPEVINE – October 22, 2026 -- Kubota North America expects autonomous versions of its M5 Low Profile (M5L) diesel tractor to reach orchard and nut growers in early 2027, after expanding its pilot with agricultural autonomy software company Agtonomy.

Pilot moves from narrow-row M5N to low-profile M5L platform

The next phase integrates Agtonomy's software with the M5L to cover core specialty-crop workloads: spraying, mowing and underplant cultivation. Kubota says the M5L's low-profile design and added lift capacity open up a broader set of orchard applications, including sanitation mowing. The M5N, by contrast, is tailored to narrow-row applications.

The expansion follows grower engagement and continued feedback from specialty crop operations, according to the companies. Kubota will use that grower input to refine the autonomous capabilities.

Society Awards, Explorers Club Launch Fine Arts Field Grant

Charlotte – – October 21, 2026 -- Society Awards and The Explorers Club have launched the inaugural Fine Arts Field Grant, a program that pairs artists with recipients of the TEC Impact Grant for expedition collaborations.

Grant embeds artists with TEC Impact Grant recipients

The program places fine artists alongside researchers and explorers funded through the TEC Impact Grant. Society Awards says the grant targets artists whose work will emerge from access to places, people and discoveries that few will experience firsthand.

Partners tie the program to expedition art history

The partners argue that exploration and art traveled together for most of history. Before photography, artists accompanied expeditions to document discoveries for the public. The Explorers Club holds paintings and sculptures from historic expeditions.
