Temu, Poșta Română Sign MoU on Parcel Logistics for Sellers

Bucharest, Romania – September 07, 2026 -- Temu has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Poșta Română, Romania's national postal operator, to streamline logistics for Romanian businesses selling on the e-commerce platform.

Poșta Română will handle full parcel lifecycle for Temu sellers

Under the agreement, Poșta Română will provide an integrated parcel service covering collection from sellers, sorting at logistics facilities, and last-mile delivery. Fulfillment options include home delivery, pickup points, automated lockers, and post offices nationwide, with the postal operator's network processing more than 500,000 parcels a day.

Companies to hold joint events and regular reviews

Temu and Poșta Română will organize joint events to help Romanian sellers grow their reach and will meet regularly to review progress and improve delivery services.

Valentin Ștefan, CEO of Poșta Română, said the operator's network reaches communities across Romania, including rural areas, and that the agreement extends delivery and return services to Romanian sellers on Temu, with potential to support sales elsewhere in Europe.

Romanian sellers joined Temu's platform in March 2025

Temu entered the Romanian market in July 2023, and Romanian businesses gained the ability to sell on the platform starting in March 2025. Temu's Local Seller Program is now active in more than 35 countries.

A Temu spokesperson said four in five small businesses in Europe do not sell online, citing complexity, cost, and lack of know-how as recurring barriers cited by business organizations and industry associations. The collaboration with Poșta Română is intended to address these gaps through reliable logistics and new growth opportunities for sellers at home and abroad.
