Adani Airports Raises $1B, Valued at $18B by Global Investors

Ahmedabad, India – September 13, 2026 -- Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL) has signed binding agreements to raise ₹9,825 crore (approximately USD 1 billion) in primary equity from a consortium including Alpha Wave Global, Premji Invest, Temasek and BlackRock managed funds, valuing the airports platform at roughly USD 18 billion pre-money.
Investor consortium to hold 5.54% stake after three funding tranches
Under a Share Subscription Agreement and Shareholders' Agreement, the investors will inject capital in three tranches, with the final installment expected by July 2027. Once complete, the consortium will collectively own approximately 5.54% of AAHL, marking one of the largest primary equity investments by financial institutions in India's airport infrastructure sector.
