SHENZHEN – – October 30, 2026 -- Three consumer devices fitted with TCL CSOT displays have been named to TIME's Best Inventions of 2026 list: the TCL X11L SQD-Mini LED TV, the XTEINK X4 Pro Pocket eReader and the Framework Laptop 13 Pro.

TCL X11L is the only Chinese TV in TIME's consumer electronics category

The X11L uses the TCL CSOT WHVA 2.0 Ultra Panel, which delivers a native contrast ratio of 7,000:1 and 100% BT.2020 color space coverage. The display pairs the TCL CSOT Ultra Color Filter with 20,736 Precise Dimming Zones and 10,000-nit peak HDR brightness. It is built on SQD-Mini LED technology.

TIME described the set as using "super quantum dot" technology that emits light at more specific nanometer wavelengths than earlier panels. The magazine said the result is color-accurate and bright.
