ICAT Logistics Names Jonathan Stein VP of Sports and Live Events

Dallas – October 05, 2026 -- ICAT Logistics has appointed Jonathan Stein as Global Vice President of Sports and Live Events, a newly created position aimed at expanding the specialized freight carrier's footprint in broadcast production and sports logistics.

Stein brings 29 years of broadcast-side experience to a logistics provider he once hired as a client

Stein joins ICAT after most recently leading sales for the Specialty Capture division of NEP, one of the world's largest broadcast services providers. He began his career at Fletcher Chicago in 1997, where he helped commercialize camera systems now standard in live sports coverage, including Above-The-Rim camera rigs and high-frame-rate pylon cameras used for goal-line replay. Over his career he sold these technologies to ESPN, CBS, FOX, NBC and Turner Sports, among others.

CPKC Sets September and Q3 Grain Volume Records in Canada, US

CPKC moved 2.94 MMT and 30,324 carloads of grain and grain products in Canada in September 2026, marking the second record month in a row to open the 2026-2027 crop year. The July-September 2026 quarter also set a third-quarter record for both carloads and metric tonnes in Canadian grain.

Radia's WindRunner to Ferry Fully Assembled Rockets Without Disassembly

National Harbor, Md. – September 14, 2026 -- Radia is presenting WindRunner, the world's largest aircraft by volume, as a fix for a growing bottleneck in space logistics: transporting fully assembled rockets, boosters and oversized satellites that have outgrown existing roads, ports and cargo aircraft. Mark Lundstrom, Founder and CEO of Radia, said the aircraft can move a fully assembled booster, a recovered launch vehicle or a next-generation satellite intact, eliminating disassembly and reassembly cycles. He attributed the design to a low cargo deck height, a nose door and a dedicated cargo loading system built to speed handling of outsized space hardware.

EVE Energy Cuts Europe Shipping Time 50% via Arctic Route

Ningbo, China – September 10, 2026 -- EVE Energy has cut its maritime transit time to Hamburg by nearly 50% after becoming one of the first Chinese battery manufacturers to deploy the Northern Sea Route for lithium product exports.

Battery cargo departs Ningbo aboard MV Dubai Tower for 20-day Arctic transit

The shipment left Ningbo Zhoushan Port on August 15 aboard the MV Dubai Tower and is scheduled to reach Hamburg in approximately 20 days, cutting nearly half the voyage time required by traditional China-Europe maritime routes. The batteries were manufactured at EVE Energy's production bases in Huizhou and Jingmen before being consolidated for ocean shipment.
