New detector cuts retakes with single-exposure imaging

The DRX-LC Detector captures long-bone and spine exams in a single shot, replacing the traditional multi-exposure, image-stitching workflow. Carestream says this reduces patient hold time and minimizes the need for retakes.

The new Detector Exposure Control (DEC) feature automatically adjusts imaging parameters to reduce variability across exposures, aiming to optimize radiation dose while improving diagnostic accuracy.
