VASA Fitness Launches HYROX Training Clubs at 10 US Locations

Denver – September 15, 2026 -- VASA Fitness has become the newest HYROX enterprise partner in North America, rolling out dedicated HYROX Training Clubs at 10 locations across five states as the fast-growing functional fitness racing format expands into mainstream gym networks.

Ten clubs across Colorado, Utah, Arizona, Oklahoma and Illinois gain HYROX-specific equipment

Participating VASA locations include Colorado Springs, Aurora and Thornton in Colorado; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Kaysville, Sandy and Orem in Utah; Chandler, Arizona; and Crystal Lake and Romeoville in Illinois. Each site will feature wall-ball target zones, competition-spec weighted medicine balls, push/pull sleds on VASA turf, and battle ropes to support HYROX-style training and competition preparation.

VASA CEO frames the deal as an extension of its studio strategy

Michael Osanloo, CEO of VASA Fitness, said the HYROX partnership builds on the company's existing Studio lineup, giving members a new structured training pathway. VASA operates 72 locations across nearly 10 states in the Midwest and Mountain regions and ranks among the top 20 largest health club operators in the U.S.

Launch events scheduled for October 3 across all 10 clubs

VASA and HYROX will host HYROX Training Day open houses at each participating location on Saturday, October 3, allowing members and prospective members to try HYROX-style workouts without requiring race registration. Additional event details are expected to be announced later.

VASA staff to compete alongside members at Salt Lake City and Denver HYROX races

Chris Griebe, COO at VASA Fitness, said VASA team members are preparing to compete in the Salt Lake City and Denver HYROX races alongside customers, aiming for a visible company presence on race day.

HYROX targets scaled distribution through gym-chain partnerships

Douglas Gremmen, Chief Growth Officer at HYROX, said the partnership with an established operator like VASA extends HYROX's accessibility strategy by embedding equipment, programming and community events directly into existing gym infrastructure. HYROX, founded in Germany in 2017, now runs races in more than 30 countries across six continents, alongside its HYROX 365 training clubs, YoungStars program, Elite Series and HYROX Experiences.

The 10 clubs mark the initial phase of the rollout, with VASA and HYROX planning to expand the training format to additional VASA locations in the future.
