Columbus – October 29, 2026 -- Vertiv Holdings Co (NYSE: VRT) reported third-quarter 2026 net sales of $4,313 million, up $1,637 million or 61% year over year, and raised its full-year sales guidance by $650 million as organic orders growth topped 100%.
Organic growth of 55% drives the sales jump, with acquisitions adding about 6%
Organic sales growth reached 55%, and acquisitions contributed approximately 6% of the increase. Growth was broad-based across all regions. The Americas rose 75% (66% organic), APAC 50% (48% organic) and EMEA 23% (19% organic).
Vertiv cited strong demand visibility, ongoing capacity investments and disciplined execution as the basis for raising its outlook.
Adjusted operating margin widens 290 basis points to 25.2%
Operating profit rose 90% to $984 million, an increase of $467 million. Adjusted operating profit climbed 83% to $1,087 million, up $491 million. Vertiv attributed the margin gain to operational leverage on higher sales and manufacturing productivity. Mix impacts and continued growth investments partly offset those gains.
Diluted EPS grew 91% to $1.95. Adjusted diluted EPS rose 78% to $2.21.
Operating cash flow climbs 64% to $794 million while liquidity reaches $6.2 billion
Adjusted free cash flow increased 50% to $652 million, driven by higher adjusted operating profit. Increased working capital and higher capital expenditures to support growth partly offset that rise. Liquidity increased to $6.2 billion, and Vertiv maintained a net cash position.
Full-year 2026 capital expenditures are still expected at approximately 4.0% of revenue.
Full-year sales guidance rises to $14,650 million at the midpoint
Vertiv now expects 2026 net sales of $14,650 million and organic growth of 38%, each at the midpoint of guidance. Full-year diluted EPS is guided to $6.29, up 84%. Adjusted diluted EPS is guided to $7.15, up 70%.
For the fourth quarter, the company guided to net sales of $4,413 million and organic growth of 50%, each at the midpoint. Fourth-quarter diluted EPS is expected at $2.08, up 82%. Adjusted diluted EPS is expected at $2.25, up 65%.
CEO Albertazzi says new product cycles are shrinking from years to months
CEO Giordano Albertazzi described "the largest infrastructure buildout" as accelerating. He said Vertiv is compressing new product development cycles from years to months and industrializing converged infrastructure at scale.
Executive Chairman Dave Cote said he sees a long runway ahead and that the opportunity "only gets bigger from here."
