LONDON – November 06, 2026 -- VidantaWorld, the luxury tourism and entertainment platform of Grupo Vidanta, has unveiled BON (Beauty of Nature), a theme park backed by an investment of approximately USD 1.5 billion, to the international travel trade at World Travel Market London 2026. The company bills BON as the world's first luxury theme park. It is located at VidantaWorld Vallarta in Nuevo Nayarit, Mexico, and opens to the public in 2027.
BON began a guest-only soft opening on October 24
The phased Private Soft Opening is restricted to guests staying at VidantaWorld, who can buy tickets during their stay. The park operates from 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, at intentionally limited capacity. New themed worlds and attractions will be added gradually before the general public is admitted.
Seven original worlds and more than 20 attractions replace franchise IP
BON draws on Mexico's landscapes, jungles, lagoons and mythology for an original universe of stories and characters across seven themed worlds. It does not rely on established franchises. Eight attraction manufacturers contributed to the build, and the completed park will have more than 20 attractions plus restaurants, lounges and boutiques.
The pitch centers on pacing rather than volume: more space, more time and personalized service. Iván Chávez, Executive Vice President of Grupo Vidanta, said the company wants to move away from "more attractions, more people and more rush" and believes this approach can open a new category for the industry.
Cirque du Soleil LUDÁ anchors the park with 40+ artists from 20+ countries
LUDÁ was created as an integral part of BON's universe. The production combines live performance, visual storytelling and dining in a purpose-built theater inside the park, and it is booked separately from park admission. Cirque du Soleil JOYÁ, the group's first resident production with Grupo Vidanta, has run at VidantaWorld Riviera Maya since 2014.
VidantaWorld pairs BON with 13+ hospitality brands and seven golf courses
BON joins a portfolio that includes more than 13 luxury hospitality brands, among them The Estates and Grand Luxxe. The portfolio also includes seven golf courses, the Jungala Aqua Experience, the VidantaWorld Concert Series and the mega-yacht VidantaWorld's ELEGANT. Two Cirque du Soleil productions are resident in the portfolio.
Trade partners can sell theme park and luxury stays as one package from 2027
The London presentation was aimed at travel advisors, tour operators and other industry partners. Once BON opens to the public, they can bring international visitors to a destination that combines theme park entertainment with luxury accommodation, golf, beaches, dining and live shows.
