ZeroRisk Raises $10M Series A to Scale Merchant Cyber-Risk Platform

Dublin – September 15, 2026 -- ZeroRisk, an Irish cybersecurity firm serving payment providers, has closed a $10 million Series A funding round led by MiddleGame Ventures, with participation from existing backer Elkstone.

ZeroRisk targets tripled revenue in 2026 as contracted programs move to deployment

The company, founded in 2023, expects to triple its revenue in 2026 as existing contracted programs enter full deployment and its international client base expands. ZeroRisk already works with Bank of America, Global Payments, Checkout.com and Trust Payments, providing banks and payment service providers a portfolio-wide view of merchant cyber risk.

Platform consolidates risk monitoring, compliance and merchant training into one system

ZeroRisk's platform combines risk monitoring, compliance management, merchant training, remediation support and protection tools in a single system, moving beyond the industry's traditional reliance on annual compliance-only audits. The company positions itself to help payment providers convert compliance obligations into value-added revenue opportunities for merchants facing scams, credential theft, website vulnerabilities and connected-device attacks.

Funding will expand headcount and product development across Dublin, Atlanta and Longford offices

The new capital will fund global expansion, continued product development and the operational capacity needed to deploy the platform across large merchant portfolios. ZeroRisk currently operates from Dublin and Longford in Ireland, and Atlanta in the United States, serving clients in Europe and North America.

Gary Nolan, co-founder and CEO of ZeroRisk, said annual compliance exercises are no longer sufficient given the daily scams, credential theft, website breaches and device attacks merchants now face. He said the investment will allow the company to expand its team and platform capabilities as it moves from product validation to large-scale deployment with payment providers.

Patrick Pinschmidt of MiddleGame Ventures said ZeroRisk's team combines commercial and technical expertise with close ties to major payment providers. Niall McEvoy of Elkstone, which backed ZeroRisk at seed stage, said the Series A round reaffirms investor confidence in the company's ability to disrupt merchant cybersecurity and compliance globally.
