Warsaw, Ind. – September 12, 2026 -- Zimmer Biomet Holdings, Inc. (NYSE and SIX: ZBH) named three internal executives to newly restructured president roles effective October 1, as Group President Kevin Thornal exits the company on September 30 following a transition period.

Gary Campbell takes over commercial strategy across the Americas

Campbell, promoted to President, Americas, will oversee commercial execution in the United States, Canada and Latin America. He has served as vice president and general manager, Orthopedics – North America, since September 2024, and joined Zimmer Biomet in 2019 after prior sales and marketing roles at Enovis.

Brian Hatcher's remit expands to include Global Knees and Hips

Hatcher, promoted to President, Recon, S.E.T., CMFT, Neuro and Biosurgery, will lead global portfolio strategy across most of the company's business units. Lou Galrao, President of Reconstruction (Knees and Hips), will now report to Hatcher, who has spent 16 years at Zimmer Biomet and previously worked at OrbusNeich and Medtronic.

Bradley Kessler to drive robotics ahead of 2027 Monogram launch

Kessler, promoted to President, Americas – Robotics, Technology and Data, will lead commercial strategy for the company's robotics, digital and technology portfolio in the Americas, plus its global service and capital solutions contracting business. His mandate includes expanding the specialized robotics salesforce ahead of the anticipated 2027 launch of the Monogram next-generation orthopedic robot. Kessler joined Zimmer Biomet in 2015 after nearly a decade in sales at Stryker.

All three executives report directly to CEO Ivan Tornos

Campbell, Hatcher and Kessler will report to Ivan Tornos, Chairman, President and CEO of Zimmer Biomet, who said the moves are designed to sharpen ownership of commercial priorities and accelerate the company's U.S. go-to-market transformation.

Company reiterates full-year 2026 financial outlook

Zimmer Biomet confirmed it is maintaining the full-year 2026 financial guidance it issued on August 5, 2026, alongside the leadership announcement.
