Venice – September 14, 2026 -- DJI staged a professional forum titled the "Filmmakers & Visionaries Session" at the Venice Production Bridge during the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, using the event to argue that its pocket-sized Osmo Pocket 4P camera can meet the technical standards of professional cinema.
The Venice session extended a creative campaign DJI began in Cannes in May, when it handed the Osmo Pocket 4P to two filmmakers working independently on different continents. Actress and director Isabelle Huppert used the device to shoot "FAMILIARITÉ," a meditation on literature and memory, while Japanese cinematographer Mikiya Takimoto used it to shoot "Looking for Her," a road-movie narrative set in a historic silver-mining town. Both projects were filmed entirely on the Osmo Pocket 4P.
Berlin – September 12, 2026 -- Morpho, a UV printing technology company, unveiled its first UV desktop printer at IFA 2026 in Hall 17-196, following a Kickstarter campaign that surpassed $10 million from more than 2,800 backers worldwide.
The device is G7 Master ColorSpace certified, a standard Morpho says ensures consistent color reproduction across different materials. Its industrial-grade print head layers fine ink deposits to create tactile, relief-style surfaces while operating at carriage speeds of up to 600 mm/s.
Amsterdam – September 11, 2026 -- DJI will stage the international premiere of its SDR Transmission 2 wireless video system at IBC 2026, running September 11-14 at RAI Amsterdam, booth 12.G75.
The new wireless video transmission system features a design that can switch between transmitter and receiver roles, a feature DJI says suits small to mid-sized film and video teams producing commercials, documentaries, short films, feature films or livestreams with multiple cameras. DJI states the system delivers improved stability, interference resistance and signal penetration over its earlier SDR technology. Full specifications will follow the product launch on September 17.
