Riyadh – September 07, 2026 -- HUMAIN has named Compal Electronics (TWSE:2324) as its long-term strategic ODM partner to build AI infrastructure spanning cloud data centers to edge devices, with the deal signed and showcased at LEAP 2026 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
HUMAIN and Compal sign roadmap covering AI servers, edge computing and Physical AI
Tony Bonadero, CEO of Compal Electronics, and Tareq Amin, CEO of HUMAIN, signed the strategic partnership agreement at LEAP 2026. The collaboration establishes a long-term roadmap covering cloud AI infrastructure, edge computing, Physical AI, and future intelligent computing technologies to support HUMAIN's regional AI ambitions.
Compal will manufacture AI servers based on NVIDIA and AMD accelerated computing platforms
Compal's ODM scope includes successive generations of AI servers and infrastructure platforms built on both NVIDIA and AMD accelerated computing technologies, enabling deployment for AI training, inference, and enterprise workloads. The two companies say the infrastructure is being engineered to meet sovereign AI requirements, combining Compal's system design, thermal engineering, and global manufacturing with HUMAIN's AI platform vision.
Partnership extends to AI PCs and hospital-focused Physical AI systems
Beyond data centers, HUMAIN and Compal plan to jointly explore next-generation AI PCs that pair cloud intelligence with on-device processing for enterprise, government, and professional users. A separate showcase features Compal's PolyMedX platform, which uses NVIDIA's Agent-Ready Rheo Blueprint to apply edge AI, sensing, and automation to hospital operations and patient care; the platform has already been introduced to leading medical institutions.
Companies stage live Physical AI demonstration at LEAP 2026
At LEAP 2026, HUMAIN and Compal are running a live demonstration of Physical AI intended to show how digital intelligence can be bridged with real-world environments. Tareq Amin said HUMAIN intends to lead the shift of AI from data centers into physical systems, citing Compal's engineering depth, manufacturing scale, and product portfolio as reasons for the partnership.
