BALTIMORE – November 02, 2026 -- Johns Hopkins University Athletics has partnered with Prospect HQ, giving its current and former student-athletes access to a hiring network that now includes athlete members from more than 700 colleges and universities.
Prospect HQ opens employer access to Blue Jay athletes and alumni
Prospect HQ connects current and former student-athletes with employers seeking culturally aligned talent. Companies subscribe to the platform to reach this talent pool and identify candidates who fit their culture and hiring needs. The platform, launched in January 2026, is built on three principles: aligning hires, elevating cultures and transforming lives.
Hopkins links the platform to its Life Design Lab and LEAD program
Jennifer S. Baker, Associate Vice Provost for Student Affairs and Director of Athletics, called the platform a "natural complement" to the support offered by Johns Hopkins' Life Design Lab. She said the university wants to connect outcomes from its LEAD program to employment after Hopkins.
Prospect HQ CEO Cory Carlesimo said both organizations aim to help student-athletes find opportunities where they can thrive professionally and personally.
Purposeful Intelligence matches candidates to jobs by self-described goals
The platform's Purposeful Intelligence tool coaches candidates through their career journey and helps them reflect on their experiences and attributes. Prospect HQ then delivers open job opportunities aligned with each candidate's self-described goals, skills, attributes and cultural fit.
A recently launched iOS app lets athletes manage profiles, explore opportunities and build connections within the network.
Prospect HQ charges employers while athletes and universities pay nothing
Prospect HQ is free for student-athletes, athletic alumni and universities. Its revenue comes from candidate-seeking employers that subscribe to access the talent roster.
