San Francisco – October 29, 2026 -- Kong Inc. has become a founding member of the ServiceNow Control Tower Alliance, an ecosystem of AI, cloud infrastructure, security, governance, value measurement and token metering companies that will work with ServiceNow on enterprise AI adoption at scale.
Alliance centers on ServiceNow's Super Intelligence Control Tower
The alliance is built around the ServiceNow Super Intelligence Control Tower, a centralized control plane to discover, secure, govern, observe and measure enterprise AI. Kong will work with ServiceNow and the other founding members to extend security and governance to the models, tools and agents that AI applications depend on.

Kong commits to three joint workstreams with ServiceNow
- Build together: Kong and ServiceNow will develop solutions that run on the Super Intelligence Control Tower and are easy to deploy, bringing Kong's AI traffic governance into the platform customers already use to govern AI.
- Deliver with governance: Kong's solutions will pass ServiceNow's qualification and certification process, checked against shared AI governance standards.
- Sell and lead together: The companies will create deeply integrated joint solution offerings for customers and partners.
Kong AI Gateway extends enforcement to LLM, MCP and agent-to-agent traffic
Kong delivers its enforcement layer through Kong Konnect, its AI Connectivity Platform. The platform applies consistent security and access policies across the APIs, models and tools that agents use. Enterprises can change models, providers and environments without rebuilding governance.
Within the alliance, Kong will apply this enforcement to LLM, MCP and agent-to-agent traffic through Kong AI Gateway, translating enterprise AI governance policies into real-time control over how AI connects to the business.
