Unterföhring – October 29, 2026 -- ProSiebenSat.1 is moving "The Voice of Germany" and "The Voice Kids" exclusively to SAT.1 in 2027 as part of a prime-time overhaul across SAT.1, ProSieben and Kabel Eins that also expands genre depth on streaming platform Joyn.
Chief Content Officer Henrik Pabst said the group is aligning its content strategy with cross-platform distribution. Joyn's reach is to keep growing, with third-party platforms used to target new audiences. In linear TV, he said, viewers reward clarity and reliability, which is why the group is sharpening the brand promise of its three core channels.
SAT.1 assigns one genre to each weekday and turns Tuesday into a factual night
SAT.1 will run reality and German fiction on Monday, factual on Tuesday, cooking and baking on Wednesday, quiz on Thursday and family shows on Friday and Saturday. Saturday becomes the family show night. The new Tuesday factual slot starts in March 2027 with the SAT.1-Checks, "Achtung Abzocke" with Peter Giesel and the formats around Jenke von Wilmsdorff.
In the second half of 2027, SAT.1 will fill Monday with German fiction: "Kommissar Rex", "Der letzte Bulle" and one further series.
SAT.1 restructures its early evening from December 14, 2026
Judge Alexander Hold's court show starts at 18:00. Jörg Pilawa's "Deal or No Deal" follows at 19:00, and "SAT.1 :newstime" returns to 19:55. SAT.1 also relaunches its access slot in December 2026.
ProSieben builds 2027 around five world championships
ProSieben will carry the men's Handball World Championship in January and the Ice Hockey World Championship in May. The men's Basketball World Championship follows in September, and the women's Handball World Championship opens December. In the second half of December, the Darts World Championship starts on ProSieben for the first time.
Saturday on ProSieben will show feature films. Sunday stays with the shows "Ein sehr gutes Quiz (mit hoher Gewinnsumme)" and "Wer stiehlt mir die Show?", and Sebastian Pufpaff's "TV total" airs Tuesday. Arne Neumann, Executive Vice President Content Strategy & Windowing, named Joko & Klaas, Pufpaff and Heidi Klum's "Germany's Next Topmodel" as ProSieben's anchor talent.
Kabel Eins takes over US series from SAT.1 and ProSieben
The former SAT.1 US-series Tuesday moves to Kabel Eins, with first runs of "Navy CIS" and "Navy CIS: Origins". First runs of the US comedies "Georgie & Mandy", "Ted" and "Die Simpsons" shift from ProSieben to Kabel Eins on Monday prime time. Neumann described Kabel Eins as the first address for US series and film classics, with continued factual programming.
Joyn concentrates on four core genres
On Joyn, ProSiebenSat.1 will expand reality, adventure, food and factual content and add thematic depth within those genres.
