Bybit Triples Bitcoin Options Share as Crypto Derivatives Shift to Options

Dubai – September 20, 2026 -- Crypto derivatives trading is undergoing a structural shift toward options, with notional open interest in options rising from roughly 25% to nearly 50% of the crypto-native Bitcoin derivatives market, according to a new report from digital assets data provider Glassnode, produced in partnership with Bybit.

Options gain share across four of five market regimes since 2019

The State of Crypto Derivatives report found options growth was fastest during the prolonged bear market, indicating the trend is not simply a function of rising prices or speculative activity. Dated futures volume has fallen roughly 97% below 2021 levels, while options volume now runs more than three times higher than it did in 2021, as leverage moved into perpetual contracts and risk pricing moved into options.

ABOSS: $1 Billion in Live Music Deals Flow Through Its Platform

Amsterdam – September 20, 2026 -- ABOSS, the Amsterdam-based operating system for live music, said roughly $1 billion in deal value is moving through its platform this year, while artist-owned records account for just 4% of that volume.

Booking agencies still run deals through email and spreadsheets, ABOSS founder says

"After all those years, deals are still made on relationships, and they're still being executed in chaos," said Arvid Silos, founder of ABOSS. "If your data lives in inboxes and spreadsheets, you're leaving margins on the table."

ABOSS has spent a decade building infrastructure to connect booking agencies, artists, managers and crews on a single structured record, covering contracts, financial tracking, planning and pre-production.

Mission Telecom Joins TIPS List, Cutting Broadband Procurement Time

Englewood, Colo. – September 20, 2026 -- Mission Telecom has become an approved vendor on The Interlocal Purchasing System (TIPS), eliminating the need for schools, libraries, higher education institutions, and nonprofits to run separate bidding processes before purchasing its wireless broadband services.

Formal bidding requirements can delay school and library connectivity by months

Public sector entities are typically required to complete a multi-step competitive bidding process before procuring new telecom services, a requirement that strains districts with limited administrative staff and can take months to complete. Mission Telecom's addition to the TIPS vendor list means it has already cleared this vetting process, giving institutions direct purchasing access without initiating their own bid.
