New York – October 15, 2026 -- Oracle Red Bull Racing and ecommerce company Rokt have retained five of six drivers for the second season of their all-female Rokt Red Bull Racing Esports team, with half of the 2026 roster drawn from the Rokt the Rig talent program.

Rokt the Rig attracted more than 7,000 entries at launch. Three of the six drivers are now graduates: Annemarie DePasquale (US), Rebecca Morrell (UK) and new signing Cythia Lok (Hong Kong). Two graduates raced in the team's inaugural 2025 season.

Team keeps five returning drivers and adds one newcomer from Hong Kong

The 2026 line-up is Paige Daughenbaugh (US), DePasquale, Bel Wells (US), Lok, Mia Rose (Australia) and Morrell. Lok is the only new driver. The five returnees start the season with a full year of competition behind them.

Rochester, N.H. – October 14, 2026 -- Laars Heating Systems will host members of the Women in Manufacturing (WiM) Northern New England chapter at its Rochester facility on Oct. 15 for a two-hour networking event and guided plant tour.

Female engineer to lead tour through Laars production floor and laboratory

A female Laars engineer will guide attendees through the company's manufacturing operations and laboratory. Visitors will see how heating equipment is developed and produced, and will learn about career paths available in manufacturing.

Laurie Bridges, human resources manager at Laars, said the event is meant to show attendees the breadth of work in manufacturing and to help women in the industry build connections that last beyond the visit.

Arlington, Va. – October 13, 2026 -- The Women In Trucking Association (WIT) is accepting nominations through August 31 for the 16th Influential Woman in Trucking Award, with TrueBlue's Centerline Drivers sponsoring the 2026 edition.

The award recognizes women who make or influence key decisions across the trucking, transportation, logistics and supply chain industries. Nominees are assessed on professional accomplishments as well as vision, leadership, mentorship and their work to open doors for others. Submissions are made online.

Washington – October 01, 2026 -- The Executive Leadership Council (ELC) has awarded $1.5 million in scholarships to 100 students across 46 colleges and universities, naming its Class of 2026 Scholars as the organization approaches its 40th anniversary.

Nearly three-quarters of scholars attend HBCUs

Close to 75% of the 2026 cohort are enrolled at Historically Black Colleges and Universities. The group spans 46 institutions, including Howard University, Spelman College, Morehouse College, Georgia Institute of Technology, Duke University and the University of Pennsylvania.

Technology and finance dominate scholar academic fields

Twenty-five scholars are studying computer science, information technology, data or cybersecurity, while 22 are pursuing finance, investment or banking. Seventeen are focused on business, management or supply chain, and 10 are studying engineering.
