Sensitron Launches 16-Channel 270VDC Programmable SSPC Series

Hauppauge – November 07, 2026 -- Sensitron Semiconductor has launched the SPHM/SEHM Series, a family of programmable solid state power controllers (SSPCs) for 270VDC distribution. Each module switches, protects and monitors up to 16 loads, with total capacity of 160A, replacing discrete circuit breakers, solid state relays and system monitors.

Each module offers 16 channels of 1A to 10A each

The microcontroller-based, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) design provides 16 independently controlled high-side channels, each programmable from 1A to 10A. Channels can be paralleled to drive higher-current loads.

Protection circuits limit inrush and EMI

The modules use true I2t protection with thermal memory, instant-trip capability and a trip-free reset circuit. Soft turn-on and turn-off limit inrush current and electromagnetic interference.

TAIPEI – November 05, 2026 -- Taiwan-based GaNrich Semiconductor has built a gallium nitride (GaN) power device portfolio covering 40V to 1200V on both GaN-on-Si and GaN-on-Sapphire platforms. The company says it is currently the only GaN designer able to supply mass-production GaN product for customer validation in Taiwan.

GaNrich covers low-mid and high voltage ranges for AI data centers and EVs

The 40V-250V line targets applications where traditional silicon devices have reached their performance limits. GaNrich has completed development of 5x6, 5x3 and 3x3 packages that are compatible with existing standard silicon devices. It also integrates gate drivers into the same package to simplify circuit design.
