London – October 16, 2026 -- The global ADHD drugs market will grow from USD 14.11 billion in 2025 to USD 22.79 billion by 2035, a compound annual growth rate of 4.91%, according to Credence Research Inc. The figures are the research firm's proprietary estimates, not audited sales totals.

North America holds 60% of value while Asia Pacific grows fastest at 6.34%

North America accounted for 60.0% of 2025 market value. Europe followed with 20.0%, Asia Pacific with 13.0%, Latin America with 4.0% and the Middle East and Africa with 3.0%.

Credence attributes Asia Pacific's 6.34% annual growth to better recognition and access in Japan, Australia and, increasingly, China, from a comparatively small revenue base. In Europe, reimbursement systems and lower net medicine prices restrain value per patient.

Orvana Beats Spain Gold Guidance as Bolivia Ramp-Up Lags

Toronto – October 16, 2026 -- Orvana Minerals Corp. produced 45,160 gold equivalent ounces (GEO) in fiscal 2026, with its Spanish Orovalle mine beating gold guidance while the Bolivian EMIPA unit fell far short of its withdrawn targets.

Orovalle exceeds gold guidance at 37,775 ounces

Orovalle produced 37,775 ounces of gold in FY2026, about 2% above the top of its 34,000 to 37,000 ounce guidance range. Copper output of 2.9 million pounds landed within the 2.7 to 3.0 million pound range. The mine processed 518,525 tonnes of ore and produced 43,074 GEO, including 100,255 ounces of silver.

In Q4, Orovalle poured 10,347 ounces of gold, up 7% on the prior quarter, on a 10% higher gold grade and a 0.8% recovery gain. Copper output rose 17% to 0.8 million pounds on a 13% grade increase and 7% better recovery. Tonnes milled fell 3%. Orvana attributed the grade shifts to changing oxide and skarn proportions and blending sequences.

von Holzhausen's Plant-Based Plastic Named to TIME Best Inventions

Los Angeles – October 16, 2026 -- TIME has named von Holzhausen's Liquidplant®, a plant-based alternative to petroleum plastics, to its 2026 list of Best Inventions, which features 300 innovations. The company is building a manufacturing facility in Georgia to scale production.

Liquidplant® is built as a drop-in material for existing manufacturing lines

Liquidplant® starts as a plant-based polymer pellet produced through patented green chemistry. Manufacturers can convert it into different forms using existing processes, so it needs no new tooling or production methods.

The material targets conventional performance plastics, including EVA, TPU, PEBA, polyethylene and silicone. Applications range from footwear and wearable technology to injection-molded components.

Copperweld CFO: Bimetal Conductors Can Ease Copper Supply Strain

Copperweld CFO: Bimetal Conductors Can Ease Copper Supply Strain

Franklin, Tennessee – October 16, 2026 -- Copperweld CFO Josh Vogel argues that copper-clad aluminum (CCA) and copper-clad steel (CCS) conductors can ease supply pressure by cutting copper use in high-volume wiring, leaving the metal for applications where it is hardest to replace.

Mine development lags demand from data centers, EVs and grid projects

Vogel says copper demand is rising faster than new mines can come online, while ore grades decline at many existing operations. New mines often need more than a decade to permit, fund and develop. Mining companies must therefore commit multi-billion-dollar investments while short-term price volatility stays high. He cites data centers, electric vehicles, power distribution, HVAC, industrial automation and commercial construction as demand drivers.

AXN Wins USMCA Certification for Louisville Axle Output

Louisville – October 16, 2026 -- AXN Automotive Systems, a member of Randoncorp, has received United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) certification for axles built at its Louisville, Kentucky, plant, which can produce up to 100,000 axles a year.

The certification confirms the Louisville-made axles meet USMCA regional content and manufacturing requirements. AXN says this gives customers a verified North American supply chain for sourcing.

AXN is investing nearly $15 million in the Louisville plant over the next decade

The certification follows AXN's move into its new Louisville manufacturing facility in spring 2026. The investment, to be completed over the next decade, is meant to support long-term growth and higher production capability. The plant serves both original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and aftermarket customers.

Cedro Wins Environmental Approval for R$3.6bn Porto do Meio Terminal

Belo Horizonte – October 16, 2026 -- Cedro Participações has cleared the main regulatory hurdle for Porto do Meio, a R$3.6 billion iron ore terminal planned at the Port of Itaguaí in Greater Rio de Janeiro. The State Environmental Control Commission (CECA) approved issuance of the Integrated Environmental License (LAI) on Tuesday, October 13.

The company describes the decision as the project's most significant milestone so far. It confirms the terminal's environmental feasibility and allows Cedro to move into the next project phases.

License covers initial handling volumes below 15 million tonnes per year

In this first phase, the license covers throughput of less than 15 million tonnes annually. Cedro won the federal auction for the ITG02 area in December 2024 and signed a 35-year lease, renewable for an equal period.
