EverHealth Maps 30-60 Day Path to a CSM Coaching Culture

Global – October 13, 2026 -- EverHealth's Marley Wagner has laid out a staged coaching roadmap for customer success managers (CSMs): build coaching habits in the first 30-60 days, then shift to a team-wide coaching culture, with six months as the checkpoint for results.

Live customer situations become coaching material in the first 30-60 days

Wagner, head of customer success programs and strategy at EverHealth, tells managers to review renewal conversations, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), executive business reviews (EBRs), difficult customer emails, angry customer calls and executive conversations. CSMs lead these interactions, and managers join and ask questions rather than take over. Afterward, the manager reviews the CSM's decision-making: what went right and what could improve.

The roadmap also tells managers to normalize uncertainty. Wagner's example phrase for CSMs is: "Let me validate that and come back with the best path forward."
