Zettabyte Donates AI Computing Platform to Taiwan's NSYSU

Kaohsiung City – October 02, 2026 -- Zettabyte Co., Ltd. has donated AI computing hardware and its zSUITE software platform to National Sun Yat-sen University (NSYSU) in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, giving faculty and students across the university's 10 colleges access to managed GPU compute clusters for teaching and research.

Donation agreement grants campus-wide access to cluster management tools

The two parties signed the donation agreement at the university, with zSUITE providing administrators a single view of compute allocation and system operation across departments. The platform is designed to let faculty, students and research teams focus on teaching and experiments rather than infrastructure maintenance.

Training compute for AI models has doubled roughly every six months, industry analysis shows

Taiwan has set a goal of ranking among the world's top 5 computing centres globally and is advancing its New Ten Major AI Infrastructure Projects to achieve that target. NSYSU established its Artificial Intelligence Research and Industry Promotion Center in 2019 and has since built independent GPU computing capacity across colleges to support coursework, student projects and funded research.
