A2Gold Drilling Expands McIntosh Gold Zone in Nevada

Tonopah, Nev. – September 19, 2026 -- A2Gold Corp. reported new reverse circulation drilling results at its McIntosh Target within the Eastside Gold-Silver Project, identifying a previously untested gold zone 370 metres southwest of the existing resource and extending known mineralization 86 metres to the southeast.

New drill hole intersects gold mineralization tied to untested magnetic anomaly

Hole ES-347 returned 0.23 g/t gold over 65.5 metres starting at 253.0 metres downhole, marking discovery of a new mineralized zone associated with a roughly 1.5-kilometre-long magnetic low anomaly that had not previously been drill-tested. The company said gold grades occur primarily along the margins of magnetic low anomalies, a pattern consistent with the geophysical signature of the existing McIntosh resource.

Second hole extends known mineralization beyond current resource boundary

Hole ES-342 intersected 0.20 g/t gold over 32.0 metres beginning at 214.9 metres downhole, extending known gold mineralization approximately 86 metres southeast of the current McIntosh resource footprint. A2Gold said the intercept confirms mineralization continues past existing resource limits, creating a follow-up drilling target southeast of McIntosh.

CEO says results validate geophysical targeting method across district

Peter Gianulis, CEO of A2Gold, said the Phase 1 South McIntosh program met two objectives: extending mineralization beyond the resource boundary and identifying a new zone tied to an untested geophysical target. He said the results confirm that magnetic features surrounding McIntosh can help identify additional mineralized structures across the broader Eastside district, though further drilling is needed to determine the scale and continuity of the new zone.

Eastside project holds 1.4 million ounces of inferred gold resource

The Eastside project, located in Esmeralda County, Nevada, within the Walker Lane Trend, currently hosts an inferred resource of 1.4 million ounces of gold and 8.8 million ounces of silver. A2Gold controls approximately 230 square kilometres of mineral tenure across Eastside and its Taylor project, which adds gold, silver, antimony and porphyry-skarn exploration upside. Kinross Gold Corporation holds approximately 9.9% of A2Gold's issued and outstanding shares.

Assay work followed certified quality-control protocols at accredited lab

Drill samples were analyzed at American Assay Laboratories in Reno, Nevada, an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited facility, using 30-gram fire assay with optical emission spectrometry finish. The program incorporated certified reference materials, blanks and field duplicates under the company's QA/QC procedures. John Marma, a Certified Professional Geologist and Qualified Person under National Instrument 43-101, reviewed the technical disclosure.
