abrdn Global Infrastructure Income Fund Sets Oct. 30 Distribution Date

Philadelphia – September 25, 2026 -- The abrdn Global Infrastructure Income Fund (NYSE: ASGI) will pay its next shareholder distribution on October 30, 2026, to investors of record as of October 6, 2026, with the ex-dividend date also set for October 6, 2026.

Fund confirms managed distribution policy tied to SEC exemptive order

ASGI operates under a distribution policy designed to deliver stable payouts sourced from current income, supplemented as needed by realized capital gains and return of capital, under an exemptive order granted by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The structure allows the closed-end fund to distribute long-term capital gains more frequently than standard limits set under Section 19(b) of the Investment Company Act of 1940 and Rule 19b-1.

Section 19 notice flags estimated sources of the payout

Because final tax characterization of distributable income can only be determined at fiscal year-end, ASGI issued the required Section 19 notice estimating the composition of the current distribution across net investment income, short-term and long-term capital gains, and return of capital. The fund's fiscal year ends September 30, and its most recent net asset value reference point was August 31, 2026. Final source determinations and tax treatment will be confirmed via Form 1099-DIV after calendar year-end.

Board retains authority to amend or terminate the payout policy

abrdn's Board of Directors/Trustees can modify, suspend or terminate the distribution policy at any time, and the company cautioned that no guarantee exists the policy will continue. Investors were advised not to draw conclusions about the fund's investment performance based solely on distribution amounts, noting that payouts exceeding net income and capital gains reduce shareholders' cost basis and can shrink the fund's net assets, potentially raising its operating expense ratio.

Closed-end fund shares, including ASGI, trade on secondary markets and may fluctuate above or below NAV depending on market supply and demand rather than portfolio value alone.
