Acer August Revenue Jumps 38.4% YoY to 13-Year High

Taipei – – September 11, 2026 -- Acer Inc. (TWSE: 2353) posted consolidated revenue of NT$30.18 billion in August, up 38.4% year-on-year, marking the company's strongest August performance in 13 years.

Year-to-date revenue climbs 25.1% to NT$214.81 billion

Cumulative revenue through August reached NT$214.81 billion, a 25.1% increase over the same period last year and also a 13-year high for the January-to-August window.

PC segment growth accelerates on desktop and Chromebook demand

PC revenue rose 40.5% YoY in August and 22.6% YoY year-to-date. Desktop PC sales grew 14.5% YoY in August and 33.4% YoY year-to-date, a gain Acer attributed to increased AI usage. Chromebook revenue surged 166.3% YoY in August, bringing the year-to-date increase to 11.7%. Commercial-line revenue expanded 60.6% YoY in August and 38.9% YoY over eight months.

Non-PC businesses now account for 35% of group revenue

Revenue from operations outside personal computers and displays grew more than 35.4% YoY year-to-date, reaching 35.0% of total group revenue. Among incubation-stage units, Acer ITS Inc. revenue rose 53.5% YoY and Acer Fashion Inc. revenue increased 17.1% YoY over the same period.

At the next@acer global press conference held last week in Berlin, Acer introduced an ultra-light laptop weighing 799 grams, a mini workstation built for hybrid agentic AI workloads, and a relaunch of Packard Bell with a full lifestyle product collection for the European market. The Acer Vero 16, designed for repairability, won the 2026 IFA Innovation Award and Best of IFA recognition from multiple media outlets.
