Tokyo – – September 29, 2026 -- Advanet Inc., a member of the Eurotech Group, has launched three new industrial computing products built on Renesas Electronics' RZ/G3L MPU, targeting OEMs in HMI, industrial automation, edge computing and building automation.
Three-tier platform spans module, motherboard and box PC
The lineup consists of the Adsmc7101 SMARC module, the AdiMB7103 industrial motherboard and the AdiCS7102 industrial Box PC, all designed, developed and manufactured in Japan on a shared hardware and software platform. The structure lets customers move from a System-on-Module to a fully integrated system without redesigning core architecture, cutting development risk for long-lifecycle deployments.
Quad-core Cortex-A55 chip drives performance-per-watt gains
The Renesas RZ/G3L MPU at the core of the platform runs a quad-core Arm Cortex-A55 CPU at 1.2 GHz, which Arm states delivers up to 18% higher performance and 15% better power efficiency than the previous Cortex-A53 generation. Planned memory and storage configurations extend up to 4 GB RAM and 64 GB eMMC, covering a range of cost and performance requirements.
Renesas Product Longevity Program backs long-term industrial supply
The platform draws on the Renesas Verified Linux Package and Product Longevity Program to secure software integration and extended component availability, addressing the long deployment cycles typical of industrial equipment. Advanet is also evaluating the platform for aerospace applications where reliability and supply continuity are critical requirements.
Advanet CEO cites shortened development time for OEM customers
Ludovico Ciferri, President and CEO of Advanet, said the Adsmc7101 delivers the RZ/G3L platform in a ready-to-use SMARC form factor that shortens development time, while the motherboard and Box PC extend the same foundation into a scalable, production-ready portfolio. Mohammed Dogar, Vice President at Renesas Electronics' Embedded Processing division, said the collaboration gives OEMs flexibility to select the right form factor while reducing time-to-market and development risk.

The Adsmc7101, AdiMB7103 and AdiCS7102 are currently available, with Advanet offering system architecture design, hardware development, software integration, industrialization and product lifecycle management for customers requiring high degrees of customization.
