AI Hospitality Group Launches, Targets 500 BPS Margin Gains

Dallas – September 21, 2026 -- AI Hospitality Group (AIHG) launched with $7.5 million in seed funding and a pledge to deliver more than 500 basis points of gross operating profit margin improvement to hotel owners through a fully AI-native management model. The company, founded by former Remington Hospitality CEO Sloan Dean, signs hotel management agreements directly with owners and takes responsibility for the P&L rather than licensing software to existing operators.

Hotel EBITDA margins have eroded to 20% from roughly 30% over the past decade

AIHG says U.S. hotel EBITDA margins have fallen approximately 20% since 2019, while CMBS delinquency rates for limited-service hotels hit 8.35% in July 2025, more than double their 2022 low. The company cites 65% of North American hotels reporting staffing shortages in 2025, with labor costs rising 11.2% year over year.

A 60-agent autonomous back office replaces traditional software tools

AIHG operates what it calls an agentic orchestration layer built on a unified data architecture that consolidates more than 20 disparate data sources into a single semantic model. More than 60 AI agents execute workflows across recruiting, accounting, revenue management and marketing, while on-property teams remain human-staffed and guest-facing. Dean, who scaled Remington's third-party business to over 100 hotels during an eight-year tenure that brought the company to 150 hotels under management, $1.6 billion in revenue and $8 billion in portfolio value, argues the industry's problem is structural rather than technological.

Rackhouse Venture Capital leads the $7.5 million seed round

Sierra Ventures and Dynamo Ventures joined the round alongside strategic angel investors from hospitality ownership, brand and technology backgrounds. Rackhouse founder Kevin Novak, formerly Uber's first Head of Data Science, joins AIHG as a board observer. The capital will fund platform expansion and onboarding of the company's first managed hotels.

The Ameswell Hotel and Parable Hospitality serve as launch design partners

AIHG is deploying three agents across The Ameswell Hotel in Mountain View, California, and two properties within the Parable Hospitality portfolio, which oversees more than 30 independent, lifestyle and branded hotels across California and Hawaii. The deployments are measured against KPIs including time-to-hire reduction, RFP response speed and revenue forecast accuracy. Ameswell Managing Director Simone Harms has joined AIHG as an executive advisor.

Co-founder and CTO Kishan Dahya brings agentic AI infrastructure experience

Dahya, a third-generation hotelier, previously founded a venture-backed software company and has had his AI-agent infrastructure work cited by LangChain. Chief Operating Officer Eve Moore, who joins from Magna Hospitality Group and previously worked with Dean at Remington, oversees the on-property general manager and operations teams that remain fully human under the model. AIHG's advisory board includes former BWH Hotel Group CEO David Kong and Noble Investment Group Managing Principal Steven Nicholas.
