Albaron Partners Sells Prime Psychiatry to Beacon Behavioral Partners

New York – September 13, 2026 -- Albaron Partners, LP has completed the sale of Texas-based Prime Wellness LLC, doing business as Prime Psychiatry, to Beacon Behavioral Partners, ending a four-year buildout of the outpatient and interventional psychiatry provider.

Albaron built Prime Psychiatry into a regional platform since 2022

Albaron partnered with founder Dr. Efosa Airuehia in 2022 to scale Prime Psychiatry across the Dallas-Fort Worth and Austin metro areas. The practice treats children, adolescents, and adults, offering anxiety and depression treatment, medication management, TMS, and Spravato therapy.

Beacon absorbs Prime Psychiatry into its national behavioral health network

Prime Psychiatry will retain its Texas footprint while joining Beacon's broader network of independent psychiatric practices. Beacon operates a physician-driven model focused on interventional psychiatry, supporting local providers with operational infrastructure while preserving clinical autonomy.

Cozen O'Connor and Citizens Capital advised on the sell-side

Cozen O'Connor P.C. served as legal counsel to Albaron and Prime Psychiatry, while Citizens Capital Markets & Advisory acted as financial advisor on the transaction. Debo Adesina, partner at Albaron, said the firm expects the Beacon platform to accelerate Prime Psychiatry's ability to scale clinical offerings across Texas and beyond.

Albaron continues deploying its $185 million fund closed in May 2026

The exit marks the latest deal for Albaron, a middle-market healthcare private equity firm founded in 2017 that is currently investing out of a $185 million fund closed in May 2026.
