The launch follows ALKU's acquisition of rockITdata earlier in September, formally folding the firm's AI and data engineering practice into the ALKU brand. Chris Ferrara, who joined ALKU through the deal, now leads ALKU Intelligence as Chief AI Officer.

Unlike ALKU's traditional staffing model, which supplies consultants on demand, ALKU Intelligence deploys dedicated teams equipped with proprietary accelerators that take end-to-end responsibility for AI and data projects. The division prioritizes achievable, high-value use cases and applies reusable intellectual property to compress deployment timelines, even for complex, enterprise-grade rollouts.
Executives frame the move as a response to clients shifting from AI pilots to production
James Cassin-Reed, Vice President of Revenue Strategy and Partnerships at ALKU, said clients are moving past AI experimentation into real deployment and need strategic direction alongside technical capacity. Chris Ferrara said organizations have traditionally had to choose between accessing specialized talent and engaging a consulting partner accountable for outcomes, and that ALKU Intelligence combines both by pairing project-based consulting discipline with ALKU's talent network scale.
