Eindhoven, Netherlands – September 25, 2026 -- AlphaESS has launched AlphaQ, an AI-driven energy agent for home energy systems, in Europe for the first time, with partner events in Belgium on September 16 and the Netherlands on September 22.
AlphaQ consolidates energy insights, tariff management and service diagnostics into one interface
The system combines Q Insight, which interprets system performance data for homeowners, with AI Mode, which forecasts electricity prices, solar generation and household demand to optimise battery charging and discharging. The battery's energy plan updates every 15 minutes under dynamic tariff structures. On the service side, AlphaQ uses fault logs and live system data to help installers diagnose issues faster.
AlphaESS pairs the launch with a new modular home battery, VitaPower 3600 AC
The all-in-one unit offers 4–16 kWh of modular storage and 3.68 kW bidirectional AC power. It starts with an 800 W plug-and-play configuration, upgradable to full 3.68 kW output through additional wiring and activation. AI Mode automatically adjusts charging and discharging based on energy prices, solar output and weather forecasts. Pre-orders for VitaPower 3600 AC opened in the Netherlands on September 22, alongside a new plug-in battery added to the regional residential lineup.
AlphaESS Benelux BV marks its first year with dominant market share in residential storage
The subsidiary held a 29.7% share of the residential battery energy storage system (BESS) market in the Netherlands and 19.5% in Belgium in the first half of 2026, according to Mordor Intelligence's Residential BESS Market Analysis 2026.
