Angelalign Launches Pressure Points to Replace Torque Ridges in Europe

San Clemente, Calif. – October 01, 2026 -- Angelalign Technology Inc. (6699.HK) has launched Pressure Points in the European market, a feature that replaces its existing Torque Ridges and delivers a 25% increase in tooth surface contact in its single pressure point configuration.

Angelalign replaces hand-made dimples with a digitally scalable force-control feature

Pressure Points is engineered to apply force at or near the center of the contact point, a departure from the hand-made dimples orthodontists have long used to correct torque and rotation. The company states the simplified dimple shape improves predictability of force application compared with current methods.

The feature launches initially for torque corrections in a single configuration, with Angelalign planning expansion to rotation and intrusion corrections. Angel's high trimline options, which cover the full tooth surface and up to 2mm of gingiva, are positioned as a complementary clinical tool for torque expression.

Rollout targets European orthodontists first, with global distribution planned

Pressure Points is now available to orthodontists across Europe, and Angelalign has stated global distribution is planned. The company says engineering research and clinical feedback will guide further configurations and that it intends to give orthodontists using Pressure Points greater control over patient treatment plans.

Xavier Cherbavaz, General Manager and Vice President for Europe, Africa, and the Middle East at Angelalign Technology Inc., linked the launch to the company's earlier release of the angelButton, framing Pressure Points as a continuation of its clinical research program.

Angelalign operates in over 60 countries with a roughly $2 billion market capitalization

Angelalign, listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange since 2021, has surpassed two million cumulative clear aligner cases across more than 60 countries.
