Cleveland – October 01, 2026 -- ArchKey, a national electrical and technology systems provider, has acquired US Communications & Electric, a Cleveland-based technology integration firm, expanding its national technology services platform across North America.
Acquired firm brings 130 employees and 10,000 completed projects
US Communications & Electric, founded in 1996, employs more than 130 professionals and has completed over 10,000 projects for customers in data centers, healthcare, education, government, financial services, and industrial sectors. The firm specializes in audio-visual systems, distributed antenna systems (DAS), network infrastructure, security solutions, and connected building technologies.

Founders point to nearly three decades of operations ahead of deal

James Connole, President and COO, said the deal provides a platform to expand customer offerings and grow the team while extending ArchKey's technology presence in the Eastern Region.
The acquisition adds communications, security, and integration expertise to ArchKey's offerings, scaling its national footprint for delivering integrated electrical and technology solutions across North America.
