Arden University Gives 30,000 Students Gemini Enterprise Access

London – October 08, 2026 -- Arden University and Google Cloud have announced a strategic partnership granting more than 30,000 students and staff full access to Gemini Enterprise, Google's agentic AI platform used by large global organisations.

Partnership embeds AI across 30 new degree programmes

Arden University has launched more than 30 new degrees built from the ground up around AI tools, incorporating immersive, AI-enabled learning experiences designed to prepare graduates for the workplace. Staff will use Gemini Enterprise to deliver personalised, AI-driven teaching and to create interactive demonstrations, case studies and accessible course formats, including audio/visual overviews and mind maps via Gemini Notebook.

Google research ties advanced AI use to pay rises and promotions

Google's 2025 Economic Impact in the UK report found advanced AI users are 84% more likely to be promoted and 55% more likely to receive a pay rise. The same report found only the top 15% of UK adults currently use AI effectively, linking deeper AI use to stronger professional momentum.

Gemini Enterprise targets three student support areas

The rollout focuses on flexible learning support, condensing lecture recordings and reading materials into study notes for students balancing employment or caregiving; on-demand academic assistance as a 24/7 study aid for structuring assignments and receiving real-time feedback; and workplace readiness tools including interview rehearsals, CV sharpening and workplace task simulation.

"Our partnership with Google Cloud will ensure that every student has the opportunity to develop the AI skills and practical experience they need to succeed in the modern workplace, no matter their background, life circumstances, or previous education experience," said Nilhan Onal Gokcetekin, CEO of Arden University.

Google Cloud positions deal as access expansion beyond top AI users

Maureen Costello, vice president of UK, Ireland, and Sub-Saharan Africa at Google Cloud, said the company's research shows AI benefits currently flow to a narrow group of effective users, and the partnership aims to extend that advantage to Arden's full student body ahead of workforce entry.
