Hamilton, ON – September 08, 2026 -- AtomVie Global Radiopharma has opened a 72,300-square-foot manufacturing facility at 10 Aeropark Boulevard in Hamilton, Ontario, representing an investment exceeding $160 million and marking the largest single-site CDMO facility in North America for radiopharmaceutical development.
New site delivers more than tenfold increase in manufacturing capacity
The purpose-built facility supports low-to-high throughput production, enabling AtomVie to scale operations from early clinical development through commercial manufacturing for its partners. The company is targeting a workforce of more than 200 employees by the end of 2026 as the site ramps toward full operational capacity.
Track record spans 70 clinical programs and 4,400 doses across 28 countries
AtomVie, a spinout of McMaster University's Centre for Probe Development and Commercialization (CPDC), has manufactured more than 1,000 cGMP batches and delivered over 4,400 cGMP doses to patients across 28 countries and six continents, maintaining a delivery success rate above 99%.

Board chairman ties expansion to commercial-scale reliability demands
Kevin McNeill, Chairman of AtomVie's Board of Directors, said the new facility positions the company to serve partners with the reliability required in the radiopharmaceutical field at commercial scale. The Grand Opening drew government representatives, clients, partners and members of the radiopharmaceutical community for facility tours.
