New York – September 13, 2026 -- Avo has expanded its MEDITECH Alliance partnership, adding Chart Assist and Ask Avo to its existing AI Scribe integration, giving MEDITECH Expanse health systems access to its full clinical AI platform inside the EHR.

Chart Assist synthesizes patient charts, flags care gaps, evaluates discharge readiness, and automates documentation across inpatient, emergency department, and outpatient settings. Ask Avo pairs live patient data with DynaMed medical evidence to answer clinical questions and draft documentation at the point of care. Both now join AI Scribe, Avo's ambient documentation tool that converts patient-provider conversations into structured, reimbursement-ready notes.
Avo reports millions in savings and reimbursement gains across health systems
Avo cited $11.6 million in cost savings across a multinational ambulatory organization, a 35% reduction in note-writing time per patient at a large inpatient hospital, and $7.5 million in increased annual reimbursement through clinical documentation improvement at a large academic medical center. The company also reported a 28% increase in completed outpatient encounters across primary care clinics and a $1.6K uplift per discharge at a large academic medical center.
Platform now reaches more than 35 MEDITECH customers
Avo solutions are currently deployed at over 35 MEDITECH customers, including Berkshire Health Systems, Ozarks Healthcare, Moab Regional Hospital, Deborah Heart and Lung Center, and Pella Regional Health Center.
