Bad Mergentheim, Germany – September 08, 2026 -- BARTEC has launched its Ex de Modular Energy Distribution Panel Series, a hazardous-area power distribution platform that delivers up to five times greater cost efficiency than conventional Ex d solutions while cutting engineering and installation effort.
Platform earns dual certification for Zone 1/21 and Zone 2/22 hazardous areas
Certified according to ATEX and IECEx requirements, the configurable panel series supports applications up to 690 V and 1,000 A. Enclosures are available in corrosion-resistant GRP or stainless steel, rated for ambient temperatures from -20°C to +55°C, extendable to -40°C with an optional heater.
Modular design targets oil, gas, chemical and pharmaceutical operators
The platform was developed for operators, system integrators and EPCs across oil and gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, energy and process industries. Its modular architecture supports both greenfield builds and brownfield upgrades, letting users expand or modify installations without replacing full systems. Configuration options include MCB, RCD and RCBO switching and protection, alongside integration of BARTEC's ComEx Global control and signaling devices.
