New York – September 21, 2026 -- BigID launched AgentIQ, a new agentic automation interface that lets enterprises run their entire data security and AI compliance program from a single prompt, executed inside BigID or directly through Claude, Copilot, GPT or Gemini.

AgentIQ operates across 200+ integrations without requiring a new console
The platform spans on-prem, cloud, SaaS, and API data sources, covering data at rest, in motion, and in use across more than 200 existing BigID integrations. Enterprises can deploy pre-built BigID agents in minutes, build custom agents wired to internal workflows and policies, or connect third-party AI platform agents directly to BigID via its secure MCP layer.
Agents inherit user permissions to prevent unauthorized action
Every agent action is enforced at the API and MCP layer based on the requesting user's existing permissions rather than a system prompt, and each action is logged and attributable to a specific person. BigID also supports password vaulting, bring-your-own-key encryption, telemetry, and air-gap deployment for enterprise security requirements.
The system targets four core use cases: audit, access, exposure and privacy requests
Documented examples include identifying which AI systems are consuming regulated data and flagging policy violations before an auditor finds them, removing stale access to customer PII, and fulfilling a data subject access request across every system where an individual's data exists.
