Bind AI Launches Publicly With $10M to Automate Quote-to-Bind

New York – October 14, 2026 -- Bind AI has launched publicly as an AI workforce for insurance, backed by $10 million in venture funding from Bonfire Ventures and other VCs. The company says it is already live with hundreds of insurance agencies and touching billions of dollars in commercial premium.

Bind AI automates submission intake, quoting, proposals and binding

The platform handles the full workflow from quote to bind on brokers' behalf. Bind AI says this saves agencies hundreds of hours per month.

The pitch rests on a time imbalance. Agents and brokers sell roughly 90% of business insurance in the United States, yet spend only about 10% of their time with clients. The rest goes to rekeying submissions, chasing carriers for quotes, assembling proposals and processing binds.

Bind AI works inside the agent's inbox instead of a new portal

Bind AI processes every inbound email and document, identifies the required action and completes it before the agent asks. Agents receive the finished work for review and do not have to learn a new portal.

The system also operates inside the quoting portals where agents spend most of their days. Bind AI has quoted hundreds of millions of dollars in premium across major carriers, helping agents win and retain millions in commercial business, according to the company.

Founder Tony Marshi said that delivering outcomes instead of tools is why brokers adopt the product quickly.

Funding supports nationwide expansion and New York hiring

The $10 million has gone toward expansion across agencies and brokerages nationwide and growth of the company's New York team. Other investors include Ramp Co-Founder Karim Atiyeh and Draper Associates.

Jim Andelman, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Bonfire Ventures, described the insurance sector as a trillion-dollar market. Bind AI is available now to insurance agencies and brokers.
