Nashville – – September 19, 2026 -- BMI Imaging Systems, Inc. sponsored a four-man team for the 10th Annual Steve Tidwell Shoot for the Troops, a sporting clay tournament held August 29, 2026, at the Nashville Gun Club, marking the company's third consecutive year backing the event.
Tournament proceeds fund 13 local veteran families through Adopt a Hero program
The event, hosted by the Nashville Chapter of the Joshua Chamberlain Society (JCS), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, directs all tournament proceeds to severely wounded veterans and families of fallen service members in Middle Tennessee. Since 2013, the Nashville chapter has supported 13 heroes and their families through its Adopt a Hero program, with donations staying entirely local.
BMI CEO Will Whitney competed alongside company team in milestone anniversary shoot
President & CEO Will Whitney, a Marine veteran, shot with a team of friends and neighbors at the 10th-anniversary event. The competition included dinner, an open bar, and a silent auction, with an engraved KA-BAR combat knife awarded to the top shooter, whose name is added to the Shoot for the Troops Memorial Trophy.
Whitney said the decade-long run of the event reflects sustained community backing, adding that JCS's lifetime commitment to affected families made the sponsorship a meaningful way for BMI to support veterans.
