Fort Worth – September 16, 2026 -- BODYBAR Pilates completed the largest reformer Pilates class on record in the United States, gathering 100 participants on 100 reformers in Frisco, Texas, and raising $10,000 for the Foundation for Women's Cancer.
Franchise stages record-setting class tied to two milestones
The 50-minute session, held Sunday, September 13, coincided with the 100th anniversary of Pilates and BODYBAR's own 100th studio opening. The event took place during BODYBAR's annual franchise conference at the Omni Frisco Hotel at The Star and included franchise owners, instructors and media from across the brand's network.
Kamille McCollum, BODYBAR's Chief Brand Officer, President and Co-Founder, led the class alongside a team of certified instructors. She said the event exceeded expectations and reflected the growth of both the Pilates discipline and the franchise's community.
Fundraiser channels $100 per reformer to gynecologic cancer research
The class generated $10,000 for the Foundation for Women's Cancer, calculated at $100 per reformer, timed to September's Gynecological Cancer Awareness Month. The Foundation, the official nonprofit of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology, has raised more than $60 million to date for research, education and outreach in gynecologic cancer.
100th studio opens in the Texas market where the brand began
Days before the record class, on Tuesday, September 8, BODYBAR opened its 100th studio in Presidio, North Fort Worth — the same market where the franchise originated. The opening marks a significant scale milestone as the brand continues nationwide expansion.
Equipment and logistics partners supplied all 100 reformers on-site
Balanced Body, Inc., a global manufacturer of Pilates equipment and education programs, supplied all 100 reformers used in the class. McCollister's managed shipping, setup and installation of the equipment. Pilabarre served as the official grip-sock sponsor, FitRadio provided on-site entertainment with DJ Stacie Hawk Carroll, and TAVI gifted participants custom monogrammed "100" grip socks.
Organizers compiled participant counts, photographs and video documentation using standards consistent with formal record-keeping practices, with verification materials available upon request.
In 1926, Joseph and Clara Pilates opened their first studio in New York City, a centennial BODYBAR marked exactly one century later with its own 100-reformer, 100-participant class.
