Los Angeles – September 23, 2026 -- Brahma AI has raised $150 million through a preferred share issuance, anchored by a $100 million investment from Multiples Alternate Asset Management, with an additional $100 million in investor interest still pending allocation.

Funding will fuel R&D and a new Silicon Valley presence

The capital will accelerate research and development, expand Brahma AI's global go-to-market operations, and establish a significant presence in Silicon Valley. Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. served as sole placement agent on the financing.

Anchor customers span entertainment, sports and healthcare

Brahma AI operates across four verticals: media & entertainment, sports, healthcare and advertising. Global anchor customers include Warner Bros, the NBA and Mayo Clinic, while strategic distribution partners include Google, Hakuhodo and DNEG.

Platform pairs content intelligence with AI creation tools

The company's technology stack combines Brahma AI Core, an enterprise content intelligence and management layer, with Brahma AI Studio, an AI-powered creation platform covering visual AI, digital humans, voice and multilingual performance. The platform received a 2026 Technology & Engineering Emmy Award for its visual AI technology.

Founder built the company from DNEG, Metaphysic and Prime Focus roots

Brahma AI was founded and is led by Prabhu Narasimhan, who built the platform by combining technology stacks and capabilities developed across DNEG, Metaphysic and Prime Focus Technologies. Co-Founder & CTO Jo Plaete leads the company's technology and R&D division. Narasimhan said the company is close to launching interactive digital humans and is building the platform to be model agnostic, with security, authenticity and provenance as core priorities.

Multiples cites multi-billion-dollar market opportunity

Renuka Ramnath, Founder, MD & CEO of Multiples, said the firm's investment is anchored in the belief that every enterprise is becoming a content enterprise, citing Brahma AI's customer traction and differentiated capabilities as reinforcing conviction in the company's ability to capture the opportunity. DNEG Founder & CEO Namit Malhotra noted that United Al Saqer Group and Thor Björgólfsson, who had previously backed Prime Focus Limited and DNEG, are now investing in Brahma AI alongside Multiples.
