Agency restructures into seven practice areas to align PR, paid and AI intelligence

Proprietary platform BASE tracks brand visibility across ChatGPT, Google AI, Perplexity and Claude

The agency unveiled BASE (Brilliant Analytics & Strategy Engine), a proprietary tool that monitors how brands appear in AI-generated search answers, analyzes how large language models describe and position a brand, flags misinformation or content gaps, and benchmarks performance against competitors. BASE also identifies which outlets and narratives AI models trust most, feeding that intelligence into media outreach and campaign strategy.

"The way people find brands is changing fast, and we rebuilt Brilliant to lead it," said Kathleen Tomes, Founder and CEO of Brilliant. "New clients, a new practice model, and our own AI-search engine are the real story."

New SVP hire and AI investment cited as growth drivers

The company attributes its expansion to investment in AI and technology, the addition of a new SVP of Operations and Client Success, the seven-practice operating model, and a strategic focus on large language model search.
