New York – September 18, 2026 -- CAEVES Technology, Inc. has appointed Kirk Ryan, a two-decade infrastructure veteran, as Director of AI Innovation on its Advisory Board, tasking him with extending the company's AI Data Platform beyond Microsoft Copilot to additional AI assistant ecosystems.
Ryan brings NetApp and consultancy pedigree to CAEVES' AI buildout
Ryan previously served as Global Principal Technologist at NetApp and is Managing Director of KDBL, a UK-based AI consultancy. He is known for commentary on enterprise AI, retrieval-augmented generation, search, and the Model Context Protocol.
CAEVES targets multi-cloud, multi-assistant reach for dark data
In his new role, Ryan will work with CAEVES' product and engineering teams to expand AI assistant compatibility beyond Copilot, strengthen indexing and contextualization of unstructured data across on-premises and major cloud environments, and deepen governance controls including data lineage, classification, enrichment and redaction. The stated goal is a platform that makes unstructured enterprise data accessible across any cloud, storage platform, or AI assistant.
