CCI Insurance Rebrands CompCorrect as RiskCorrect, Opens Platform to New Clients

St. Petersburg, Fla. – September 18, 2026 -- CCI Insurance, a Higginbotham Partner, has rebranded its proprietary CompCorrect platform as RiskCorrect and opened it as a standalone offering to companies outside its existing client base facing complex risk profiles and significant claims exposure.

Platform expands beyond workers' compensation origins since 2020 launch

Since launching in 2020, the technology has grown from a workers' compensation claims-management tool into a broader system linking incidents, safety activity, root-cause analysis, corrective action and underwriting strategy in a continuous risk cycle. Tobin Robeck, Higginbotham | CCI Managing Director and Regional Sales Director who co-founded the platform, said RiskCorrect now helps companies identify loss drivers, connect claims and incidents, and demonstrate that corrective changes are working.

AI processes hundreds of claims to surface hidden loss patterns

Artificial intelligence analyzes large volumes of claim and incident data to detect patterns across hundreds of cases that individual review might miss. Robeck said the technology removes routine analysis and administrative work from staff while human judgment determines what actions to take. The platform then documents corrective work through claim narratives and stewardship reports for use at renewal.

Experience modification rates can determine whether contractors win contracts worth hundreds of millions

Brad Dempton, Higginbotham | CCI Managing Director and platform co-founder, said experience modification rates, OSHA records and incident rates directly affect whether high-risk businesses qualify for and win work. For companies with hundreds of millions of dollars in potential contracts at stake, a single rating can decide the outcome, according to Dempton.

CCI reports reduced employee attrition following workers' compensation claims

CCI says its approach has produced a significant decrease in the number of employees who resign after going through the claims process, attributing the improvement to earlier problem identification, better communication and faster claims movement.

Rebrand follows CCI's integration into Higginbotham roughly one year ago

The wider RiskCorrect launch comes approximately a year after CCI joined Higginbotham, the 16th largest independent U.S. insurance brokerage in 2026 according to The Hales Report. Higginbotham Chairman and CEO Rusty Reid said CCI has proven the platform with its own clients and that the next step is scaling it to a larger market.
