Cheryl McCants Named to Inaugural Women to KNOW in New Jersey List

Newark, N.J. – October 07, 2026 -- Cheryl McCants, Founder and CEO of Impact Consulting Enterprises, was named one of 50 inaugural honorees in the Women to KNOW in New Jersey program, a recognition presented by KNOW Women for leadership, entrepreneurship and community impact across the state.

McCants is honored for nearly four decades of business and civic leadership

The recognition cites McCants' career spanning entrepreneurship, corporate leadership, public service and strategic consulting, with work across business, government, education, healthcare and life sciences sectors. She was honored at the Women to KNOW in New Jersey Dinner & Gala held October 6 at 18 Label in Montclair.

Her career includes leadership roles at Nike and Jordan Brand plus local public service

McCants' professional background includes leadership positions with Nike and Jordan Brand, service as a former town commissioner, and board roles in business, education and economic-development organizations. Her firm, Impact Consulting Enterprises, operates as a marketing communication and strategic consulting firm serving corporations, government agencies, educational institutions, and healthcare and life sciences organizations.

McCants runs a workforce-development arm and a branding podcast for business owners

Through The Impact Institute, McCants and her team deliver workforce development and professional-growth training in writing, speaking and strategic thinking. She also hosts the podcast "Build Your Brand with Cheryl McCants: Make the Invisible Visible®," aimed at business owners seeking guidance on branding, marketing and leadership visibility.
