In Ethiopia, Chinese experts combined Fengyun satellite data with local station data to generate high-precision nowcasts using the Fenglei and Fengqing AI models. Fujian Province's meteorological bureau is separately assisting Sri Lanka with high spatiotemporal resolution precipitation and temperature forecasting.
