Merrill, Wis. – September 11, 2026 -- Church Mutual Insurance Company, S.I. has appointed Ben Parisi to a newly created role as vice president, head of finance operations and financial planning and analysis, the insurer announced.

Parisi will oversee core finance functions across the organization

Parisi's mandate covers finance operations, expense management, procurement, payroll, financial planning and analysis, and management reporting. He will report directly to Daniel Kim, senior vice president and chief financial officer of Church Mutual.

Executive brings more than 25 years of insurance finance experience

Parisi spent more than two decades at Zurich North America, most recently serving as vice president, head of finance operations, where he led teams handling premium and fee collections, disbursements, and cash management. Earlier in his Zurich tenure, he held leadership roles in expense management and financial planning and analysis, developing financial models and systems to improve business decision-making. Before Zurich, Parisi worked at Aon Risk Services and Coleman, Epstein, Berlin & Co. LLP.

New position formalizes expanded financial oversight structure

Church Mutual said the role was created to strengthen financial insight and operational support as the company continues to evolve its finance functions. Kim said Parisi's experience building teams and improving decision-making processes will be applied "right away" as the company grows.

Parisi holds a bachelor's degree in agribusiness, farm and financial management with a concentration in accounting from the University of Illinois, and an MBA from DePaul University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and will be based in Church Mutual's Madison, Wisconsin office.
