Echola Launches 800G/1.6T OptiShare Switches for AI GPU Testing

San Jose, Calif. – September 22, 2026 -- Echola Systems has introduced two optical test switches, the OPX4D-SM and OPX8D-SM, designed to cut equipment costs for engineers validating AI data center GPU cluster networks running at 800G and 1.6T speeds.
OptiShare switches let one test resource serve multiple devices under test
The OPX4D-SM offers a 1×4 configuration supporting four devices under test (DUTs), while the OPX8D-SM provides a 1×8 configuration for eight DUTs. Custom builds scale up to 1×32, accommodating 32 DUTs. Engineers select one DUT connection at a time for sequential, automated testing, eliminating the need to dedicate costly instruments like bit error rate testers and protocol analyzers to every device.
