Curb Data Shows Los Angeles Parking Surged 100% on World Cup Match Days
Charlotte, N.C. – September 28, 2026 -- Parking activity near SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Los Angeles, jumped 100% or more above baseline on several match days during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, according to new data released by curb management technology provider Passport.
The company tracked parking payments, enforcement and permitting activity across five U.S. and Canadian host cities -- Boston, Kansas City, Toronto, Los Angeles and Seattle -- during the tournament, finding sharply divergent patterns in how match days affected local curb operations.
