Hong Kong – September 23, 2026 -- Ping An Good Doctor (HKEX: 1833) said its AI business accounted for approximately 4.6% of gross profit in the first half of 2026, as the Hong Kong-listed insurer's healthcare arm shifts from diagnostic AI tools toward services that execute care plans on the ground.
Ping An launches AI-powered home rehab coaching
The company upgraded its Ping An AI Doctor service with Ping An Smart Private Coach, a hybrid AI-and-coaching offering that tracks 34 points on the body to deliver real-time feedback across seven categories, including posture correction, chronic-pain rehabilitation, postpartum recovery and Baduanjin qigong exercise. The global market for AI personal trainers is projected to grow from $16.9 billion in 2025 to $65.7 billion by 2033, a trend coinciding with China's National Health Commission "Weight Management Year" initiative launched in 2024.
